This role is pivotal in accelerating our software delivery, ensuring that our products are deployed efficiently and effectively while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will play a vital role in fostering collaboration between development and operations, automating workflows, and implementing innovative cloud solutions to optimize the software development lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing

In your capacity as a DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure at iCloudReady, your responsibilities will include:
  • Facilitating effective collaboration between development and operations teams to enhance DevOps practices.
  • Automating workflows and streamlining the software development lifecycle for increased efficiency.
  • Configuring, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure robust performance.
  • Deploying and maintaining a diverse range of software applications.
  • Proactively monitoring software performance and implementing solutions to address issues.
  • Ensuring rapid and reliable software releases, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
  • Participating in security audits and playing a key role in incident response initiatives.

  1. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a proven track record of success.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and the software development lifecycle.
  4. Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  5. Proficiency in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  6. Experience with CI/CD tools, and a strong grasp of infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
  7. Solid skills in monitoring, troubleshooting, and analytical thinking.
  8. An ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
It is preferred that you have experience with:
  1. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Go.
  2. Experience with scripting languages like Bash or Ansible.
  3. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Chef or Puppet.
  4. Expertise in orchestration tools like Ansible or Terraform.
  5. Experience with security tools such as CloudTrail or Splunk.
  6. Knowledge of DevOps tools including Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
